Is anyone else having a issue with the stuck on 100% loading screen

Just updated the game and it was stuck on 100% I tried pretty much anything. Any ideas???

Yes I was too- I went to steam library, right clicked on bg3, viewed the files, went into the data folder and deleted the mods folder out of it.

I also deleted all the mods I had installed via BG3 Mod Manager. That means I also cleared out the mod folder in the documents folder.

Exported and saved an empty mod list.

Restarted my PC.

That worked for me. Hope it helps you too!

your mods are probably in the other drive, mine were in my c drive and my game is on the d drive

no same here i delete the bg3 mod thing and this is what it says " failed to load the main menu from current game mod. the main menu mod requires the level. make sure to clear any local mod and try again. if the problem persists, please contact larian support."

Someone said to roll back with the beta patch 6 and re-install the game with that and should let you play with mods, I dont need the extra evil ending and Bethesda "in game" mods

Right click the game in your library and go to properties, there is a beta option, someone said it did work techincally but the game is loading forever now, so the update might of ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up every modded save file permanently. Though not TOO big of a deal for me, just another annoying 6 hours to catch up with, and a ♥♥♥♥ ton of lucky dice throws. But hold on to the game files anyway, they might patch fix their ♥♥♥♥ up

Yep currently stuck too
Nvidia Drivers are up to date enough
Had outdated mods installed but ran update and installed Tool Kit and then verified files to delete the mods.
Stuck at 100% on Load Screen
Disabled Steam Overlay and deleted my custom launch options -high -nojoy
Still stuck at 100% Loading Screen
I'll just try again whenever. Luckily I haven't played in months and wasn't in any real rush to play right now. I'll try again in a few weeks and sub to this thread in the meantime.

Edit: got it working all I did was do %appdata% and delete the BG3 file if this doesn't work see comments below to get an idea

Ok so I managed to get my old save to work with mods again. Rollback to the beta 6 patch, reinstall the game with it, keep your mods loaded, play the game through a mod manager, (highly reccomend vortex) and wamo, game works like a charm

My game is stuck at 93% of initial loading screen (it doesnt even get to the menu).
It DID load once, I tried Larian's 'in-game' official mods and subscribed to some of them, went to start a game and it froze and crashed. This is where the problems all started for me.

I have verified the game files till the cows come home. I have uninstalled the game, deleted any residual files, reinstalled, verified files again, and the game still wont launch.

Hours of my time, and torn out hair, for a game that just WONT work.

Yeah I have the same issue here. First i thought it was my mod that cause that but then reinstall the game stuck at 100% loading screen
