GAME NOT WORKING BECAUSE I HAD MODS

Game doesnt boot it gives me an error saying its missing one of my mods. What is this freaking UPDATE MAN? You just broke the game, I was in the last chapter of the game. I hope my save files are not gone!

Yeah that is what happens with an update. You have to remove all your mods before you update or it will likely break the game. It is not rocket science.

NOTHING WORKS. Clean install and i get this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ error: Failed to load the main menu from current game mod. What is this?!

I am getting the same error message after removing everything mod-related, uninstalling and reinstalling.

Your save needs mods you don't have and is complaining. Either revert the game to patch 6 or wait for mod updates.

Man, i dont even load any save files, The game gives me this error before it even loads! I will try to downgrade.

I would recommend completelly removing your mods. If that doesn't fix it. Uninstall the game and download it again. No way it will work with the mods. And I doubt you can downgrade. The game has multiplayer capability. Its going to require the latest version.

I just did that mate. I 100% deleted everything. The moment i click BG3 it gives me that error. It's super annoying. I never had this problem before <.<

The game keeps mod files in AppData\Local\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3\Mods, and in AppData\Local\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3\PlayerProfiles\Public (the modsettings.lsx file).
Remove them if you haven't already.

The folder is empty. :/

It worked for me! ;D But i dont know , the game's performance is not that great anymore. /:

They didn't break anything. YOU had ample time to prepare for the update. this is your fault, not theirs as they are not responsible for your mod list.

Is it hard to put in mods? Can i just pick them from the game page or do i have to go someplace to get them because i wont be doing that. hopefully its an easy thing to do.
