Is anyone else having multiplayer issues with the new patch. When I try to join a previous saved game it says connection error everytime

Same issue. Deleted all my mods and mod folders and can't connect to anyone. Tried Direct Connect and same issue.

I’m trying to do a rollback to patch 6 and see if that works until they fix it.

Having same issue. Trying verifying files now with a friend. We tried each others games, fresh save file in new patch. Zero mods installed on either PC. Might just be an unfortunate bug.

Connection Failed error.
Mods or no mods, can't join or host games.

Tried all the fixes -- kinda stuck on standby I guess.

I was able to play using direct connect, anything else gives me the error.

Having the same issue, can't connect in our multiplayer save.

Yep. It's broken. The only way is through Direct Connect. At least that works... for now.

There is a problem with the multiplayer mode, for which the manufacturer recommends reinstallation, but there is another solution.
1. Start a new multiplayer game
2. Push through the cinemas and make a character (next-next-finish)
3. When the game loads after the cinema, have your friend join the game
4. Now load the game that was interrupted and for which you received the error message. Your friend will automatically join the new game
5. ENJOY

I figured out a fix. Open BG3 launcher > Click the gear in the bottom left corner > Open Profile Folder > Delete Player Profil folder and Mod folder.
Worked without issue after that for me.

Can confirm, works with old campaigns that are relatively lightly modded.
Just simply start a new campaign with friends (random characters + no mods) and once all are loaded in- load your old campaign.
