Connection error Multiplayer fix for patch 7

As of now if you try to join a friend on pc there seems to be a chance to not join and get connection error, for some reason this only works on people your are friends with and not random lobbies. If you have this problem just unfriend them and then use direct connect, fix the problem for us. hope this helps.

Didn't work for me. Removed me as a friend from her laptop and she disappeared from friends list. Went with direct connect, lan, internet. No go.

Urgh. All that time to wait for the patch to finish and we still couldn't play. Bummed.

same here with my friends. tried clearing cache, removing cloud, etc. nothing work since patch 7. everything was so perfect before that patch!

Tried this out after 45 minutes of troubleshooting and it worked with direct connection. Thanks for the tip!

Doesn’t work for me for any type of multiplayer connection just get error I’ve uninstalled too
