Do mods in patch 7 make it impossible to earn achievements?
I would like to know if when installing mods in the game, I am unable to earn Steam achievements

Nope, you'll need achievement enabler mod for that from nexus mods

No, if not stated otherwise in the mod description.

Does it give you a notification that achievements are disabled when you use the Ingame mod manager? I installed the ui extender, faces of faerun and a hair mod (also the one that gives all camp clothing and dyes), then started a new game to check if it show a notification that the achievements are disabled, but no such message appeared.

They mentioned in a Twitter post that any mods will disable achievements. I don't think there's an in-game message.

The achievement enabler on Nexus is currently crashing my game, or rather it's required parent mod, the native loader, is crashing the game at the moment.

Ta. Glad I read this before getting too far in.

How are mods from Nexus working alongside ingame found mods? I'm not using many because I feel imcompatibilities are pretty probable...

They will disable achievements.

That is a Steam thing, ask them to change it. Has nothing to do with the game.

You could just use SAM (steam achievement manager) as well.

Definitely not a Steam choice. Steam has no interest nor say in Larian's Decisions.

No it's not.

Steam doesn’t give a ♥♥♥♥ about achievements, they’d shut down SAM if that was the case.

I uninstalled all mods to try an honor mode run. I mean really, if you use a cheat mod then you really didn't earn the achievement. It would be nice to be use non cheat mods like hairstyles, clothing or UI changers though.

Do not use the Achievement Enabler mod. Just downloaded BG3 Mod Manager, then under the Tools tab select Download and extract Script Extender. Script Extender comes with an achievement enabler already. It's all you need.
