how to enable DLDSR?
i have a 1440p monitor. since recently i have an rtx 4060. i enable DLDSR in nvidia config, under 3d settings. but the max res i can pick in BG3 is still 2560x1440. ive tried it in this other game spellforce conquest of eo, where the higher resolution settings do show up and i apply the higher res, but when i close the settings screen, nothing has changed. when i go back to settings, it's back to 2560x1440...

Did you switch to fullscreen mode? It only works in that.

yes. it's in fullscreen by default

even in the nividia app when i click optimise this game, even when prioritising quality, it's still locked at 2560x1440

ive figured out how to get it working in that other game i mentioned at least, it works in Exclusive Fullscreen only. but BG3 doesnt have that option

this whole DLDSR thing is so difficult to work with. ive also just tried it out in fallout 4 and it messes up the scaling

if you have an nvidia graphics card, dldsr doesn't work with nvidia 565.90 drivers. just roll back to 560.94 drivers, they work just fine

ooooh ok i'll try that. wow ive spent like an hour trying to look for any info on this, this is the first time im seeing something precise. will try it out in a bit and report back. thanks in advance!

it worked! only got my new gpu last week, and also installed the nvidia app and latest driver. downgrading to the previous version worked. thanks a ton!

so this is what DLDSR + DLSS looks like...neat!

Thanks for replying and confirming the issue. DLDSR + DLSS is worth it.
