Why does Tav keep saying this?
I haven't seen this question anywhere and it's been driving me nuts. Every once in a while, Tav will say something like, "I should speak up" or "Something's on my mind." I figured it meant someone in my party had something to say but they never do. What does it mean when Tav says these things?

"Something's on my mind" is a joke about the tadpole.
I believe if you listen closely, the full line is "Something is on my mind... or *in* it."

it doesn't mean anything, it's just a random voiceline that plays when you click to move etc.

These are random voice lines added with Patch 7 which play when your character moves towards an NPC for dialog.

It's just an acknowledgement of your mouse click. Games have had this for decades. Just like most party members have a few lines they speak whenever you select them as the active leader.

My favorite is when you are in combat and Tav says, "I don't even want to think about why my eye is itching."

I find it somewhere between jarring and annoying when you are in camp and you click on somebody to talk to and Tav says "First in my heart" or something to that effect. Like, what? No, Tav, you are only going over to talk about getting Astarion onto the party to pick some locks, not because he is your dreamboat.
