Honour Mode Ruleset in Custom Mode not working?
I am trying to create a multiplayer LAN game.
I don't click on any of the 'Filters' options.
After I click 'create', I am taken to the 'Lobby settings'.
For gameplay mode, I click on CUSTOM, and then I select the 'Honour Ruleset'.
Unclick single save.
All tactician options.
I adjust some of the slider bars and tick the boxes on a few options.
Then I finally click 'confirm' and then 'launch'.
The next immediate step is to create character, 'proceed', create guardian and then 'VENTURE FORTH'.
As soon as I get in the game I check the difficulty and the ruleset is STANDARD RULESET.

So what happened here... why is the game not using the Honour Ruleset that I selected?

it is fine outside of multiplayer and i only play multiplayer.
Here is what we did.

Flipped the one setting in the SaveLoad.xaml to True and it allows you to save under Honor mode and load games with out dealing with the one save issue. Since Multiplayer can drop on you and you loose your game instantly it is kind of a must.

Then you can play Honor mode with out all the issues under Multiplayer.

Thank you for the reply. I have no idea how to do that unfortunately.

I am trying to understand if there is something I am doing wrong or if there is a problem/bug with the 'Honour Ruleset' not working in 'Custom' mode.

It works just fine, just not in Multiplayer.

You could try the workaround. Start a single player game via the single player mode and Custom. Then before you start select multiplayer button.

Or you could use one of the mods out there that let you save during Honor mode, which does work in multiplayer.

I've experienced this bug too, weird how you can't directly start a custom multiplayer game with honor ruleset

True. Good news is that the final result for me is the same... I got my full custom group set up. I just had to do it through single player and then convert to multiplayer. Opened new instances via the dx11 launcher (after closing off steam completely) and just used LAN (local connection) to add the rest of my custom party.
