I am pretty sure you can reject Bhaal regardless of choices before that, and if he kills you Withers just resses you.
what you are mentioning is the part after orin fight, what I meant when bhall kills you is for rejecting him in the very end. If I remember correctly when you use bhaal gifts for entire playthrough and reject him in the end he kills you because you indulged in his powers for too long without any chance to resist.
I'd also like to know if its possible to reject bhaal after orin fight even if butler gives me slayer form beforehand I never tried it so i don't know.
After the fight thats where you have the choices to lock into the ending you want to have (good or bad)
If you want the good ending, you reject Bhaal's gift and pay the price for that
If you want the bad ending, you accept Bhaal's gift and either follow through (dominating the brain) or reject him later (paying a steeper price)
If you rejected the gift from Bhaal after the Orin fight, youre pretty much just a regular Tav at that point, Bhaal wont do anything after that to you (idk if you keep the slayer form)
So keep Orin as the last thing to do in Act 3 so you have to do as little as you need to get both the good ending and bad ending for Dark Urge
