Question About Abdirak
So, before the Loviatar ritual he performs, I had bought Loviatar's Scourge from him instead of risking stealing it on my honor mode run. I didn't even think to send the mace to camp, I just assumed he'd use his axe for the ritual. Instead the bugger takes it out of my inventory, beats me with it, keeps my 850g, and the mace does not show up in his inventory when I try to pick pocket him. Also, can't trade with him any more.

So my question is, does attacking him make the goblin camp hostile? I'd rather fight the bosses on my own terms instead of having to adapt after provoking a fight with Abdirak. I also freed the grove prisoner, so the two gobbo torturers are in the room. At the very least I want to recover my gold, and my dignity while hoping the mace drops as well. I won't bother if it aggro's the gobbos, but I'd like to know first before I try. Thanks guys, cheers.

Guess I'll answer my own question. I found out myself by attacking Abdirak, and it does indeed aggro the goblins. At least on Honour Mode, I don't know about any of the others. Luckily, I only used two of my party to kill Abdirak, one slipped away without being noticed, the other drank an invisibility pot, and ran away back to camp, to be switched out. Goblins aren't hostile to my party now, and I got my mace, and gold back.

I'm sorry for laughing here but that is kinda hilarious.

The S&M fetish guy punked you, stole the whip you just bought from him and used it to beat you then pocked the gold.

It sounds like the plot to a bad pron or CSI episode.

What's so good about it that you're willing to part with 850 gold? It's just an uncommon mace that deals an extra 1d6 (1~6) Damage Necrotic? Wouldn't Shattered Flail be a better mace to use considering it also heals you when you attack with it?

Yeah, I would have laughed more if I didn't get so thoroughly abused by Abdirak. :steamsad:

Loviatar's Scrouge also gives you necrotic resistance. Pretty handy in act 2.

I thought it did a d6 aoe, so if you get in the middle of several enemy...
otherwise, shattered fail + the necklace is pretty much ensured 12 - 18 healing per round barring misses. But if you go mad, the destruction from someone with spells, bombs, scrolls etc is beyond belief. Its amazing on like a barbarian who is taking reduced damage and topping off, effectively having some 250 HP in a fight late game..
