Otherwise it's usually a bad idea to disable a mod mid playthrough, and the game will warn you about changed/missing mods.
It might work in your case, but it's hard to tell for sure, you might damage your save either way, so I personally wouldn't take the risk.
yeah i just found and installed this script extender while I was waiting for replies here lol.
so thanks for the suggestion. do I need to do anything else? i didnt download an enabler mod or anything. just the BG3MM and script extender. enable achievements with mods seemed on by default at this point.
edit- this is kind of my point in the complaint section. Why should I need to go through this hassle? /sigh
If they didn't disable them those that are keen on balance and challenge would complain.
So they disable them to at least be able to tell they did it.
Script Extender does it by default. There's no further steps, assuming it is properly installed!
good to know! thanks
Honestly best solution to the problem is completely removing achievements alltogether...all they are is a cheap way to give certain users another dopamin rush without having to spend any real effort in development.
Yet every dev has to add them nowadays, because the whining wouldn't stop if they didn't have them...
