I think Dragon is a bit stronger tho for the most part, but Tempest is still very strong and more fun.
Tempest Cleric/Storm or Draconic is another fun one.
I think you mean Storm. Tempest is a Clerc subclass.
Tempest cleric channel divinity lets you maximize lightning damage....which, when added to a storm sorceror's significantly better lightning spell availability and metamagic options can really wreck stuff
.....soon to be Shadow.
Oh yeah I meant Storm lmao.
Altho yeah Tempest Cleric + Storm Sorc is a great combo too.
Looking forward to the new shadow subclass.
In general it's Storm Sorcerer. He gets some nice stuff like additional good (!) spells (on top of the usual spells) and flying on level 1 😁 instead of level 11 as also 2 resistances instead of 1 like the Draconic Sorcerer and extra Damage on 2 Damage Types instead of one, while one is heavily buffed by the additional spells a (Lightning Draconic) Sorcerer couldn't learn otherwise.
I see Draconic whether as fun nor as (in general) the best option. Except if you want to go pure Fire Damage or something odd like Melee as Sorcerer.
Voidborne is a nice runner up.

Thank you.
