no mods, fast leveling, black screen lvl13

I made sure that I had no mods on and got to lvl 13 just after the crash then got a level up screen that just stayed and was blacked out whats going on?

You're playing with a mod, There is no 13 in vanilla game.

but im not i made sure to uninstall them all. when you go to the mod place its completely blank. hence why i posted

The game is only up to level 12. If you can level up to 13 then that is NOT the game. It's because of a mod. There is absolutely no other way to achieve anything higher than 12 with vanilla.

Same applies to "fast leveling". There is no way that you can be 12 (or 13...) right after the crash, you will be level 1 (close to 2). This is also because of a mod.

You need to *really* remove that mod residue, try these:

At some point you or a friend you played with had the mod for levels past 12, You must of removed it wrong and the files for it are still in the game which is what is causing the issue, There is no way to reach level 13 in the Vanilla game as the level simply does not exist it was not programmed or meant to be reached. The fact you're getting to level 13 means you had something alter the code string in the game a mod, That's causing your issue make sure to turn off cloud sync then find all possible locations for mods and get rid of those folders then verify game files to fix any issues launch your game load your save then you can turn cloud sync back on if you want.

Then you've not uninstalled them correctly. There is no level 13, and you're not going to get past level 3 before the crash (assuming you mean the nautiloid crash at the start).

Additionally, you shouldn't be changing mods on existing saves.

The only thing that happen on vanilla game when your have enough experience for level 13 is your characters stop receiving XP with a message "Maximum XP reached". Maximum level is 12. Mod issue.

Also should be noted any char from that modded game that hit 13 will not be able to work right without the mod hence why its freezing up

I removed them in the in game space and see none on vortex but i will see if they are hiding somewhere. and i started a new game after what i thought was removing them all

Might be best to do a fresh install l and clear out all bg 3 files before the new setup if you are going to start a fresh game anyhow that will ensure all files are new rather then hunting down files if you are still getting issues

Yeah… No level 13 in vanilla.
It was fun to read the headline. No mods, level 13 ;)

But, yeah. Remove all saves, mod folders, etc. I have been in level 12 tens and tens hours and no crashes! So it should be possible
