How did you know you had them surrounded... if they were never revealed?
And why'd you jester the person asking for screen shots?
Probably not a bug.
This. I have had enemies pass multiple save checks for See Invisibility to my annoyance. It was those Shadowlands ape things that use Garrote. Forgot their name. ****ers pass three checks as my fourth person couldn't chug a potion.
Now I am not saying the RNG system of the game is busted, but clearly it is not in my favor. I have a paladin character with +3 cha, +3 proficiency, +1 from a cloak, +1 from an Elixir, and +3 from an aura. That is an +11 to my roll. Why do I need to roll for a DC 10 at this point????? Shouldn't I automatically just be talented enough to pass that check??? Not according to the game. It will, without fail, roll a 1. Yeah ok.
Or even a DC of 21, I just need 10 or higher... yeah nope. Can't even give me that.
I'm currently having this problem as well. And the thing is that they don't seem to be passing the check each turn.
It's frankly quite annoying.
Edit: If you have a drow in your party, you can use also "faerie lights".
Aside: (There are other base vanilla game ways to do this like Faerie Fire or Branding Smite, but you gotta hit them while visible to keep them from turning invisible again. Also, if you do things like inflict Burning on them, being on fire kinda hinders them from turning invisible again. There is the method of dropping a huge AoE, which will reveal them if they are inside of it, but it requires some guesswork if they are invisible and moving around as to whether you will hit them. And yeah, after this method, many will turn invisible again.)
Unfortunately - as it is an unimplemented Larian 6th level divination wizard spell, the only way to get it is through mods.
It makes the fight against the Bhaalists in the Bank Vault really amusing ... they will sometimes try and vanish again twice, and fail twice, wasting their turn, once again somehow blissfully AI-unaware the spell is preventing them from doing so,
May be why Larian didn't implement it. Doesn't stop me from using it anyway. I now hate that fight a lot less. Now I only have to deal with their Unstoppable defenses.
