Not worth it.
I don’t have any strong feelings either way about the guy, but if he can somehow manage to make D&D better, I say let him. Hasbro and WOTC has lost the plot and turned D&D into a parody of what it used to be, anyway.

Hasbro owns WotC, which in turn owns the DnD franchise.
And yeah, BG3 is Larian's work, Larian paid for using the licence.
