Cos some people have friends among devs, beta testers and people more engaged on the community that may have other sources for this announcement.
Mystra's has a corpse explosion spell, but it's no cantrip, it's a 5th level spell (Macabre Explosion). Valkrana's Spellbook has its own corpse explosion spell, called Corpse Grenade, but that's a 2nd level spell. You can use it to make corpses of dead enemies explode, OR your summoned undead explode, too. Destroying them but also their nearby enemies.
So far, nothing I've seen adds a corpse explosion cantrip or homebrew ability.
Thanks bro!
Potent Spellcasting will shine apparently!
Which you would have heard about, before the announcement.
Dude, the question has even a proper answer already. With minutes of the Op.
If you have nothing useful to say or if you don't want to engage in this thead subject, there are tons of other posts for you to engage. Have a good day!
I only offered a theoretical answer based on my experience with mods and 5E.
You gave me a solid based rumor, the previous use of these features in mods of the community.
