That said, the easiest way to win the trial: I'm daft so I didn't think of this myself ... send in 1 person (usually Shaddy as she wants to) ... have them take off all armor and equipment ... put blood in the bowl ... put it all back on ... have her enter the room.
She will be facing a clone who admittedly has all her spells, but is unequipped. A nice unfair 1v1 fight.
I believe you get a slight curse if anybody in a party attacks someone other than their clone, but it's minor and easy to remove with remove curse. But don't do it with a party; the 1v1 unfair method is the quickest.
But it should be pretty easy without any cheese, because the player is much better at playing the game than the AI is.
This is actually my favorite of the three trials.
1) Attack only your own clone, unless...
2) If you have killed your own clone, you can attack anyone
Killer's Sweatheart gives you one guaranteed crit per Long Rest (if you have already killed at least one enemy). It's really nice for paladins because you can get a guaranteed critical smite.
but:
you need to attack the copys of your chars with THE FITTING CHAR! so attack gale with gale or karlach with karlach (whatever youve go)
i didnt get that, but still killed them. you can also find that information in a book if you sneak in there invisible
and btw: dont forget the parasite! its kinda easy to miss!
