Extra Levels? (probably no Spoilers)
If you've finished BG3 once or twice, you've probably noticed that you keep getting XP even after you reach L12. Why?? AAMOF, you get a LOT of extra XP! So,, there are, literally, hundreds of MODs out there. Why don't any of them let you get to, AT LEAST,,, L13?? And maybe even L14!
I'm assuming that Modding in extra levels mus t be a true chore... but I don't know because I'm not a Modder. Does anyone out here know why no one has tried it? Thanx for any input!

I assume it's to make up for people who skip content along the way, either on purpose or just by missing it. Just because some people are level 11 reaching act 3, doesn't mean others don't make it there at level 9.

I get that not everyone wants a slowdown. But it would be a nice to have option in the settings. I get that you can do it with mods too, but when every 5th post is 'mods broke my game' I steer clear. I think things are starting to get more stable, but until I finish the multi-player games I am in, still a hard no. After that... yea ... :)

A lot of people already have, 5e spells adds in spells for up to level 20, and the unlock level curve 7 lets you level to 20

I added you, shoot me a message, because honestly Baldur's is pretty tame in regards to games breaking things, if you know what your doing

Unlock Level Curve unlocks some class features and resources from 13-20 in the base classes; but, for example, if you want Paladin 4th and 5th level spells, you need Paladin Overhaul mod. (Haven't found something similar for ranger). Still, classes will continue to get spell slots, but unless you pick up the handful of 7th-9th level spells in the game (also requires other mods) you will be using them for upcasting. Or, if you run out of 6th level slots, using 7th-9th level slots to keep casting 6th level spells. With Paladin Overhaul, your paladin can get Destructive Wave, Banishing Smite, etc., etc.

As for mod classes and subclasses, many are written for 1-12, some are written for 1-20. Some will simply "stop" at 12, others like Mind Weaver will let you keep levelling from 13-20, but you really won't get much beyond additional HP at those levels, and some have been written (in many cases adapting 5E descriptions) to only get certain abilities at levels 13-20, because the original class was written that way.

Again here comes my warning for Unlock Level Curve; right now it will nuke your druid wildshapes. Workarounds include other druid wildshape mods at Nexus which give most of them back (but not Moon Druid Myrmidon forms); a patch not by the author of the mod which is hard to find; or this new Shapechange mod which includes all the Druid wildshapes plus a bunch more. In effect, cheating back the wildshapes you should be getting anyway,

You can get Finger of Death (lvl7) and PW:Kill (lvl9) from Secret Scrolls, BUT, don't use the mod.io one; it's busted, get it from Nexus.

There's a 5E Spells "WIP" at mod.io which is incomplete; the more complete one at Nexus has
Regenerate (7th level) (it's in Mystra's and moved to lvl6) (as well as Finger of Death)
Lvl 8: Dominate Monster, Feeblemind, Holy Aura, Mind Blank
lvl 9: PW Heal and Foresight (as well as PW: Kill)

I've moved over to using Mystra's Spells myself, since it has everything in 5E spells plus so much more, and for all classes, not just wizards; unfortunately, it doesn't yet have any 7th-9th level spells, nor scrolls for the spells. (Should also note the 5E Secret Scrolls mod hasn't ever been ported to mod.io. but maybe cuz the base Secret Scrolls is busted.)

The question is why do you need that when a guy did (with a lot a cheeses) the entire game at level 1 ;-)

That's a weird way to play but doable.
