If it's Honor Mode I'd avoid entirely, even with a full party I don't do it because a bad initiative order and lucky rolls means she can go down before you get a single turn.
It can very challenging doing it solo, because she gets surrounded pretty quickly. Even on Balance Difficulty. And if you do manage to get her past that initial onslaught alive, she is a dumb-ass and runs off attacking enemies she has no need to.
As a pure fighter, the best I can think of is to bank a couple of scrolls of Protection from Good and Evil. If your build doesn't include the Alert feat, I would definitely take an elixir of vigilance before starting the fight. If you can cast protection from good and evil on her before she or any of the Winged Horrors take a turn, that would significantly help her survivability.
If that isn't enough, you may have to respec into a one level cleric dip for access to Sanctuary as well.
Not sure what else to do. Create choke points with crates maybe.
Yeah give it a couple tries since you can reload without any issues. You can also try to metagame it and block the doors you know the Winged Horrors will come from (Arcane Lock if you're a mage, or stack barrels/boxes) to buy you some time. Try to disable Marcus with whatever means you have so he doesn't slam the hell out of her.
Arcane Lock, items in the way, whatever else you can think of. You don't need much luck for the NPCs to take care of the Winged Horrors without anyone dying. Even less luck needed for everyone important to survive.
Then all you have to worry about is Marcus, and that's doable so long as he doesn't crit unreasonably often.
It's what I did on my very first playthrough (and have done on at least one of my Honour playthroughs since too lol).
avoidance is good too. Nothing marcus drops is interesting, and you don't need the spell.
