Rolan disappeared

I convinced Rolan to stay put in Act I, rescued the refugees, and at this point, can have Halsin join my adventuring party. But I completely missed Rolan the first time in Last Light and so far have finished saving everyone from Moonrise. His siblings weren't there and when I go to LL now, I still see his projection telling his siblings to "stay put." But when I go down to Tollhouse bridge where he's supposed to be, I see neither him nor a cursed, dead-version of him. Is this a bug or is it because I didn't talk to him the first time around in LL? Just thought it's weird that even if dead, he's just disappeared from the map entirely

I didn't find him in LL and I'm assuming that he's gone out since there's a projection left by him, telling his siblings (also missing) to stay put in LL

He is near the bridge I bet, near Moonrise but hasn't gotten inside the city. Problem is, he almost got instant killed until I found him. Had to heal him quickly with one and distract enemies with two others.

Should be near the big bridge but hasn't crossed, just below/beside the bridge on the map. You'd have to be quick once you get close.

Should be near the big bridge but hasn't crossed, just below/beside the bridge on the map. You'd have to be quick once you get close.

That is really odd, must be really bad bug encounter. I never had him not show up at that spot, but I did talk to Rolan before I rescued everyone in moonrise. Telling him that it is my responsibility now to save them, he had an argument with my character and decided to go anyway after I left to save them.

I talked to the two once we reached safety and Rolan wasn't in last light, so I went straight away to find him. So I think you definitely encountered a bug, the only thing I can suggest is going back a few saves. I don't know what else you can do but go back, sorry.

Rolan will go look for his siblings regardless, but BG3 has a "tolerance" of "days". So if you dont talk to him after you enter the Last Light for a number of days (I know it is a number, but I dont know how many and I dont want to look for it or test it), he will go regardless, and if you do not rescue them in a set number of days, he will be gone. You can only find his "remains", dead or undead, should you go look for him knowing he went out and cant find him, after some "days" you will find. If you could not trigger the drunk scene, or the rescue scene in time, you wont find anything about him. Maybe you find him dead somewhere, or with a group of other dead, like the last light caravan if you dont find them before finding last light. However I never did found Rolan.
