Party of 5 members for Act3
I just entered act 3 and reaaaaaally wanna keep jaheira with me.
I don't wanna dismiss laezel / astarion / gayle tho and i heard about party begone mod.
I'm just very worried it breaks somehow my game or massive bug (one massive act2 bug kept me away from the game for months).

What would you advice ? Any mod recommendation ? other mods to support better party mod ?

Make a backup of the save would be the wisest, then when you mod 1 you still have a backup from before the mod. Most saves prior to the mod should also load fine and vanilla if you remove the mod as well then load them.

There may be better advice but that's how I would go about it.

Read up beforehand. Some areas in the game you MUST approach with four in your group.

I've seen Aether's No Party Limits, is it better than Party Limit Begone ? i'm playing solo

They will both have similar issues, I'd read the comments on nexus to determine which is in a good functioning state. Other mods to help with some issues like stuck may help.

Some scenes are just scripted for 4 people, so in this case just teleport your 5th to camp or dismiss them temporarily. If your goal is to have jahira in scenes, then she would probably be best to have as a main 4. Both mods list this as an issue and how to avoid it. Aethers appears to have bin updated in 2023, so I would go with "Party limit begone" cuz it was updated Jul 28th 2024 not that long ago. Save often just in case.

This may help if someone gets stuck

It is important to read the mod page though for overall warnings and steps. Sometimes mods require a little effort on your party so they don't bug.

Important Information (READ ME):
Continuing existing saves with more than 4 players: You must start a new game set your party size and then load your main save to carry over the party limit.
Grymforge Map transition: Reduce your party size to 4 members before sailing with the boat. If you already used it and your characters are stuck, dismiss the ones that are with you and sail back and forth to unstuck the rest. Note: After using the boat a timed quest is triggered and going to camp will progess it.
Some quest or important items aren't registered correctly if they are carried by a fifth or higher party member. So make sure your first 4 party members carry any important items.
Camp sleeping bug: Use one of the awake companions and talk to Lae'zel, use a camp chest or reduce your party size to 4 before resting.
Some ingame events are simply hardcoded for 4 party members and will glitch out. This is usually solved by either dismissing the additional members/players or by teleporting back and forth.

Thanks mate !
But by the time i already installed Aether party mod + Teleport party to you along with inventory for 5 people.
It also seems to work with my aether autohide party members.

I'm excited to start act3 with it.
I saw about the Grymforge but didn't see anything for Act3
==> if someone know about some typical act3 issue please tell me !

I have played a lot with "party limit begone", and love it. I like to keep as many dialogs available as possible. Even such a thing as their one-liner chat when we walk around.

Backdraws:
- Balance, you might need step up the general game difficulty, or use another mode to rebalance it.
- PC load, at times my rather low specced machine struggle.
- Overcrowded areas. Some small areas are not meant for more than four team members. You can just leave the rest outside.
- Some scripted four people interactions. The boat in Underdark and House of Hope in Act 3 (you only get disguises for four) comes to mind. Both are easily overcomed.

Maybe some more minor issues.
