how do you do the wide range loot search on keyboard/mouse?

i know on my steam deck controller i just hold A to do it but can't figure it out on keyboard. thanks for any help

like that shows the present items nearby, but on my steam deck i'm able to pull up a menu of all lootable spots and select each ones and my character runs over to each one and loots them while i have the menu pulled up

I don't believe that's a functionality on KB+M ; you gotta discover and walk over each spot yourself, with the aforementionned ALT key.
