Honour mode saying its on tactician?

I created a new vanilla play through and when i hover over the continue button it says tactician but when i go to load menu it says honour. Is my game bugged or is it fine?

that's 'normal', ignore it, hopefully they do fix this visual bug though

That is how all of my Honour Mode plays have been labeled so I believe it is fine. I also don't play with mods and I didn't unlock the achievements for whatever reason so take that for what it is worth, however, I have read that others have done Honour Mode without mods and didn't get the achievement unlock either.

yeah im running un modded rn so hopefully it gives me achievement

Let me guess, you can now see difficulty settings in place of the honormode card thing?

1) It's not a bug.

2) That only happens when you try to save scum Honor mode (We call it dishonor mode). The game is setup that if your party wipes honor mode automatically trips independent of your savefile progress btw so that even if you immediately ctrl-alt-delete it records it.

3) A separate file tracks honor mode status not your save file.

Hate to break it to you bud but your honour run is pretty much wasted.

I guess they didn't think of that name display when they added HM; it also showed it like that for me (no mods and I did receive the achievement).

If you want to know what difficulty you're really on then press "ESC → Difficulty" ingame; there it should correctly display "Honour Mode" with no ability to change it. (I did also that when I saw it as Tactician - the fear is real ;)

@the person above me, posting just when I was typing - no it does not mean that "honour run is pretty much wasted" and it also doesn't "only happens when you try to save scum"; it displayed it like that from the beginning for me (as example).

Just saying here it's quite "amazing":

• 3 people tell you it's just what happens and rather "normal"
• I tell you how to make sure you are on HM
• of those three you can check the profile of two and see that we have the achievement in question

... yet the one you choose to believe is the hidden profile person, writing a load of crap (you know, like when you say you have no mods and he tells you it "must be your mods then" among other)

So as the others have said i believe this is just a visual bug on the main menu when you hover over continue...... thats what I see in my games anyways.

However if you click the Load Save Game button and then sellect the honor mode run from the list you'll see it says honor mode....

or at least i do..
