The knock-out method only works if she's "temporarily hostile". If she isn't, she's treated as dead when knocked out and will disappear at the next long rest.
Oh really? Damn now i feel kinda bad that i always kill her when i meet her. Been depriving myself of a good merchant.
Otherwise, she takes off for Moonrise Towers after the party.
Actually, if you do not involve her in a fight, aka no fight happens near her, the goblins do not use the drums to alert each other, then you can trade with her until you kill the last goblin leader.
(I stealth killed the whole camp with a ranger:D No alarm, no drumming, no huge fights, just silently killing one at a time, or sometimes three. If the patrols do not discover the body then you are good to go and she stays there with her guards, till you kill the last named boss. Then once you killed the last named boss she will disappear along with her guards, outside you will have the whole camp against you. But with good positioning it just a long fight without much risks.)
And in another "tower" you can later do the same. So all those NPC-s who rush in with you will not die:)
For someone working in the Zhentarim, she sure has a short memory of who we are haha
She does make a dumb mistake in Act 3, though.
