Graphical artifacting
I recently started playing BG3. And all of a sudden my directX driver is acting up.
It starts with FPS stutters, then models and textures becoming screwy. And then the entire driver crashes for my whole computer. My laptop is a bit on the old side, but it can run BG3 at medium settings 60FPS.

Does anyone else have this, and perhaps a fix. I have no problem using mods to fix it

Intel i7 9750H
32GB ram
Nvidia RTX 2060
1TB storage

This sound extremely likely as if your graphics card is getting too hot and overheating.

Check ASAP the temperatures of your card and if the fans are working correctly.

Yesterday the GPU reached somewhere around 80 degrees celcius.
My CPU seems to throttle to stay below 90 degrees celcius. I could do a little dedusting.

The thing that confuses me is that a restart seems to prevent it from happening
