Late game once you're able to stack INT above 20 with items (and boosting attack rolls), you can get EXTREMELY high success chance on things like hold monster. He probably single handedly carried my first honour mode run, though any wizard could've done that I guess.
A wizard in general I probably wouldn't multiclass. I prefer Abjuration over Evocation, but not by much. You can do some nice things with Evocation.
Makes me tolerate him when he accidentally dies due to the bloodspray from my Barbarian Tav.
for sure divination is underated. I like abjuration. Tanky AF baiting out enemy attacks tho I usually will splice in tempest cleric
can work pure tho 100%
Well, that is no surprise, coming from you, dear Lady
I like what I like. What can I say.
Twinned spells pfft. Do not make laught.
I really, really dislike Evocation. Spell sculpting is not that useful because this is a turn based game and you can carefully postition spells and the bonus damage is just THAT important in magic missiles builds, I'm not that much into that, I prefer wizards as magical toolboxes.
Then use 2 evo wizards and one sorc to twin haste them both and do 2000 dmg per turn XD
