Is Patch 7 the last big patch?
I wonder if the coming Patch 7 is the last big patch or if there are more planned. I want to wait until the final patch before I play BG3 again.

Instead keep to what the developers themselves write:

It’s hard to believe it’s almost been an entire year since we launched Baldur’s Gate 3. But the journey isn’t over yet.

Patch 7 won’t be the final update for Baldur’s Gate 3. We still have a few things up our sleeve - including many community-requested features like crossplay and a photo mode to capture and share your unforgettable moments. And we’re working on a host of other enhancements, from gameplay tweaks and quality-of-life improvements to bug fixes and performance optimizations.

We’ll keep you looped in on when those are likely to hit a little further down the line. In the meantime, stay in touch with us on our socials, stay tuned, and don’t forget to wear sunscreen.

You know, just to tell what kind of mindset this guy is in, constantly spreading some BS.

Yes. This has been repeated and covered here and elsewhere many times,

Thanks. Then I will wait for it.

I didn't really follow wait was said in the last months about BG3, so I easily missed that info.

I mean, we don't know what else they've planned after patch 7. 8 seems to be a smaller one and there's the obligatory enhanced/definitive edition that's bound to come our way at some point.

It's not the final patch. But likely one of the last very big new content oriented ones.

Thanks for correcting this.

Well, then I need to wait longer. Also ok, I have enough to play. :D

I like to play games in the best possible state, learned that from The Witcher 3, played it after the very last patch (before EE) even when I bought it on release day. Actually I play Cyberpunk 2077 for the same reason. A RPG is heavily story driven and you can have only one "first time" playing it and I don't want to spend that on still heavily patched RPGs. But I have already bought and play it a lot but never finished it, that will come with the final version.
