I worked on it for many months, altering each encounter to fit the needs of a challenge, and then I came to the realization of wtf am I doing with my precious time? I'm doing the work a developer studio should be doing. I'm not getting paid and the trial and error is extremely tedious. It would have cost me probably another 6 months to even complete it and for what?
So yeah I agree, I sincerely dislike it when studios drop the ball and continuously cater to the lowest common denominator. It's not like Elden Ring didn't perform extremely well, despite its alleged difficulty.
