So, the Tadpole Elixir...
Does the Tadpole Elixir do anything really? Other than make you weak on saving throws for 3 rounds? Have you used it effectively, and how?

Have you read the other effect it has? Yes, it gives you disadvantage on CON, WIS and INT saving throws until long rest, but it also gives you advantage on all attacks for 3 turns after using a tadpole power. It's only effective if you're a half-illithid and have massively invested in illithid powers so you trigger this often.

Thank you for the explanation. It affirms my experience that a whole day of vulnerability isn't worth 3 turns of slightly better attacks. I just use those ingredients to craft other stuff.
