Isobel dead. How will the playthrough differ?
More than a year ago, I was reloading a save and remember casting protection on her on the next try. But I never finished the run.

This is my second plathrough and I play honour mode. I really feel bad losing this character and slaying the whole in. I tried to look up in Wiki what is going to be different, but Notes section is empty and it doesn't say much.

Can someone let me know, summarize what the playthrough would have been?

And seriously, it took just the initial attack from the demon leader and one of the spawns. Just one attack from a demon grunt whatever the name :(

Isobel dies, which means :
* Halsin's quest is dead EDIT : apparently you can still cleanse the Shadowlands, albeit a bit differently
* the tieflings are dead (including the blacksmith, meaning you can't buy his OP armor act 3)
*Jaheira dies, which means the whole Harper side of act 3 is dead. I also believe you cannot save Minsc either
* The strange cow dies, which means you miss a minor questline act 3
* the sorcerer dies, which means his whole questline is dead (the one where he takes over the mage tower in act 3, depending on your nightsong choices)
* There's probably a consequence with the Nightsong if you save it, but I don't remember

Halsin's quest isn't necessarily dead. You can still complete it and cleanse the Shadowlands, but slightly differently.

You need Speak With Dead to question the Flaming Fist who knows where Thaniel is, instead of playing his lute, but otherwise it's the same.

I thought I will find her with Ketheric. Its more instrumental than I expected then. Anyways, I probable just get the honor mode achievement by nuking Gale which is an option I heard about. I never finish games like these.

In my playthrough Isobel died, but I could still save Jaheira. The strange Ox was still alive, too.

I sent her to my camp, not sure if she got there. I didn't see her die in the village.

Play it and find out.

I would have to play it twice till the end to compare. I'll probably remove Windows in its entirety after I finish this run. Need room for more Linux distros haha

If she dies when you are at Last Light (Marcus scene, not by letting Shadowheart kill Nightsong first), you can keep Jaheira alive and recruit her.

The Nightsong if still alive, she will still join your camp after Ketheric fight and conclude her Lorroakan confrontation in Act 3. Just without Isobel.

The only way to find Isobel alive with Ketheric at the end of the act is to make sure you
"non-lethal" her yourself during Marcus confrontation. (Marcus or his minions straight up kill her). You'll be forced to fight and kill her anyway, Ketheric puts a tadpole in her head (which you can loot from her for extra tadpole power). Which is even more tragic if Nightstong is there as well.

So Gale bomb it is. Gonna nuke them all!

Thanks for clarification all
The playthrough will be noticeably less sexy OP.

Did you know that night song and Isobel.... Well let's just say they are more than friends....

::raises eyebrow::

Now I feel like an idiot.I missed this clean in my run.

It is a little meta, though, unless you're speaking with every corpse at the place. I'm not certain I would have done it if I had thought of it.
