Ethel, considering you are like level 4 or higher, is pretty doable. At least outside of Honor mode:
Cast an AoE Spell to reveal her
(optional) Daze her (with a Pommel Strike or that one mace weapon action)
Command: Grovel (45% if you didnt daze, 70% if you did daze)
(optional) Daze her now if you didnt before
UNLOAD EVERYTHING YOU GOT
On her next turn, she can only get up from prone, and since she is dazed, you should have a 65%/70% chance to hit grovel a second time after which she should be minced meat. IF not, keep making her grovel.
There are probably a few other instances where you might be able to loot some chests by locking a door, but they aren't going to be anything special. I really thought this was an intended use for the spell. The basically turned it into Infravision in BG1,
I was able to do it on a recent run just by casting Command: Grovel and Hold Person on her. Kept her around for a couple of turns which was enough time to end her before she could flee.

Main file gives +1 to all stats, but if you get the "hag hair choice" optional file you can choose which stat to make it less OP.
