Should BG3 be part of the "Ignore the First Two Games" club?

I'm not sure how popular BG1 and 2 were when they first came out but BG3 definitely knocks it out of the park compared to those two, even if you consider the enhanced editions.

For those who don't know, here are some other franchises that are part of this club:
Persona, Fallout, The Witcher, Grand Theft Auto, Far Cry, and Elder Scrolls.

Update: I'm not saying they should be ignored or they are bad I'm just saying not a whole lot of people knew about the last two games before the third came out. I guess Fallout isn't part of the club. I'm actually a huge Fallout fan myself and have played the first two games after playing New Vegas and 4.

We're human - we're capable of 'thinking outside the box'. It's what differentiates us from mindless machines. So if you're going to insult, at least do it indirectly, for a start, and with some sophistication and originality ('you're a troll' has been done to death, like 'touch grass' and all the other 'I've no self-awareness' insults).

The UI in BG2 certainly has an worn medieval charm to it that trumps BG3's forgettable, slick effort (genuinely, as I can still remember the BG2 UI, decades on and can't remember the BG3 UI, having only tried it again in VR last week...). But that's not what I was referring to.

Who care on posts about you but yourself?

That's why it's a valid method.

Anyway answer to junk/troll/provocative/assault posts is pure lost of time but to try put back an arguing on rails, but with some people it's time lost.

Myself I was anti block because it favors schism between people and lower ability to argue with people with different opinions, but the reality is in practice, it's a good tool anyway no matter the negatives.

Seems like another error in the 'learning centre'.

Does your 'learning program' not involve blocking or otherwise avoiding the 'soliloquies' that so frustrate you?

I mean, you'd think if you were 'learning', you'd do everything you can to avoid reading that which annoys you.
