Don't have Shovel's find familiar spell?

So I noticed way after looting it that I had a Summon Quasit scroll and looked it up. I used Shovel's summon scroll and yet only after the quicksaves beforehand faded away did I notice I don't actually have a means to call her back if she dismisses. Unless the find familiar option only shows up after a certain point, the only familiar spell I have is Scratch's.

The wiki says that you gain the permanent spell after talking to her with a Warlock, Wizard, or Sorcerer after summoning her with the scroll, but I again don't at all see the spell. Did I do something wrong?

You get the spell after a dialogue where Shovel calls you a "spell-♥♥♥♥♥". It's not available to a Storm Sorcerer (though there's a work-around), and I believe, as a Draconic Sorcerer you would need to avoid convincing her you're a dragon.
The most reliable way to get Shovel as a summon is to have a Wizard learn the scroll before casting it. You can even get it on two characters this way: learn the scroll, cast the spell, talk to Shovel with another caster.

I looked up a video since I was still having problems and guess what? Apparently naming Shovel something else locks you out of the spell-♥♥♥♥♥ dialogue. How fun is that?
