You can still benefit from the offhand weapon though, gives you a second chance at your sneak attack if the first one misses.
One of the reasons I went to pathfinder and enjoy pathfinder 2e.
Loved my rogue in 3.5 and seeing sneak attack get nerfed sucked.
No limit on how many times it can be triggered in pathfinder 2e, and it can be triggered by spells as well once you grab a feat.
Makes some builds that mix martial styles and magic fun as heck.
Being level 5 and hitting someone with all 3 rays from a scorching ray with each triggering 4d6 fire, then 3d6 sneak attack per ray isn't something I can do often but when I do it melts stuff.
