Report a translation problem
Fighters, Barbarians, and similar martial classes will be proficient with all the weapons in BG3, some classes like wizards or rogues have a more restricted list. The list of what you're proficient with is on your character sheet in one of the tabs.
Also, a weapon should clearly warn you in its tooltip if the character you have selected isn't proficient with it.
Can't remember if there was another way in the game rn.
That information should be in the mod descriptions though.
Only other way to get it so far as I know is what seeker mentioned- you can take the Martial Weapon Proficiency feat at level 4/8/12 to get proficiency with martial weapons.
