How do you get Profiiciency in Weapons?
title. I'm still early in my 1st, but from the weapons/armor I have, modded and not, many say you can do X skill if you are Proficient in the weapon/armor. How do you get said proficiency?

it's a feature of the class you picked at level 1. Also some races give weapon proficiencies (wood and high elves get bow proficiency, for instance)
Fighters, Barbarians, and similar martial classes will be proficient with all the weapons in BG3, some classes like wizards or rogues have a more restricted list. The list of what you're proficient with is on your character sheet in one of the tabs.
Also, a weapon should clearly warn you in its tooltip if the character you have selected isn't proficient with it.
The main way is via your class or multiclassing.
Can't remember if there was another way in the game rn.

If you're not getting proficiency from your class, background, or race, you'll need to take the martial weapons proficiency feat.

I've got a modded Race(Undead) and modded class(Mutant). One of the possible mutant abilities I can pick is Proficiency in all weapons and armor. But there are other skills that sound better, but I didn't know how to do Proficiency.

Well, with a modded race and class I don't have a clue what you're proficient with, sorry.
That information should be in the mod descriptions though.
Only other way to get it so far as I know is what seeker mentioned- you can take the Martial Weapon Proficiency feat at level 4/8/12 to get proficiency with martial weapons.
