Karlach - Ancients Paladin. Her outlook meshes well with the oath's tenets.
Gale - Lore Bard. He likes to tell stories and it's in keeping with his overall knowledgeable character.
Lae'Zel and Karlach could easily be reclassed without messing up their personal quests. Although since Lae'Zel's big reward is the Silver Sword, seems like keeping her as a fighter also makes some sense. Some marital class, anyway, that can make good use of a greatsword with special benefits for githyanki wielders.
I'd also say Astarion is open to being made a fighter or ranger.
Gale, Wyll, and Shadowheart are all a bit tied to their classes. And the druids. At most Gale could move to sorcerer unless you want to view it as him being completely cut off from magic thanks to Mystra and the artifact and him becoming a rogue or something while he tries to get back his power.
We have a backup bunker in the OFF TOPIC! lol
Of you wanna stay loreish friendly i would say gale says he excells at all forms of magic he tries so really any class that does magic would work for him lol
I made karlach a partial paladin of vengence cuz it does seem fitting she would want that on gortash and all or you could use her esacape as a means to reinvent herself overall.
you could make lazel a monk like the rest of the opposing faction as well!
i feel like all of these would be lore friendly wise if oyu ask me, of course you dont have to do that but it works :p
I like the idea of a Monk type Lae'zel too
liking these suggestions! Thank you
Can also go Tavern Brawler sans Strength Elixir cheese so you actually have to be even more MAD but still be able to be decent with Greatswords.
It not being a Monk weapon kinda counterbalances how ridiculous Tavern Brawler Monk is baseline.
I mean its a bit of a waste but i have done a playthru with no heavy weapons in general with her as a party member. Overall you cant use all the good weapons in 1 playthru so its not worth sweating it
Lae'zel can use all swords because of being a Githyanki so no class choice cuts her off from the silver sword or any other sword for that matter.
And a full band.
I suspect I'd get tired of the Barbershop Quartet renditions of "Show me the way to Fae'run" and "A Wizards Staff has A Knob On The End"....
Will decide on Karlach once I go get her.
