Dark Urge run: How to make one of my companions an oathbreaker paladin

Ok, so I started a dark urge run. My tav is a warlock but I want to respec Lae'zel to be a paladin (Which I have done) but I want to make her into an oathbreaker. Her Oath is devotion.

I missed the first opportunity by killing the Tieflings to free Lae'zel for the obvious reasons (She is not in my party yet and at this point she is a fighter)

I Let Arka kill Sazza in Emerald Grove but nothing happened

I guess next I can try killing the owlbear cub.

Try and let Lae'zel attack and kill a random NPC, or reload a save and have Lae'zel let Arka kill Sazza.

You can also achieve this by just letting Lae'zel attack non-hostile creatures
So just send her to some tiefling, slap them with her without anyone else in your party being near and get her arrested (if that didnt make her break her oath, just attack and let Lae'Zel get killed and revive her with a scroll after)

Oaths are not broken unless the one who has the oath has fallen the decision, so if you use your Tav to commit murder or make evil acts, Lae'zel wont lose her oath, only if Lae'zel does the act she loses it (so you choosing an evil option in dialogue wont make her lose the oath)

Killing sazza doesnt do it. As now the game automatically switches to Tav. I was able to get her to kill Findal the hurt druid in underground passage and it broke the oath.

very nice, and such a useless character too 😆

play as the paladin and just do something to break their oath, there is so many but the easiest is just attack someone neutral unprompted.

The change to make tav perform important actions make doing this require a more deliberate action
