Hot date achievement

Is the hot date achievement bugged? I've tried everything and it just won't trigger

1. Have you actually had the date?
2. Are you playing with mods?

Did you cool off Karlach in ACT 1 with water or ice and get the kiss? Did you hook-up at the beginning of ACT 2 at Last Light Inn after the 2nd heart upgrade? I think you have to do all those things and talk to the carny nymph at the fair and 3 out of 3 the love trial to get the date to trigger in ACT 3.

I tried everything, looked up everything I could try and tried it but I never got the date
It's fine though, found a save game and did it through there

I just got it too, there is so much conflicting guides out there I was quite baffled. I completed my tiefling achievement campaign and went back for this achievement. Took about 15 mins from the end of act 2.

This worked for me:
- I loaded a save in the end of act 2 where I had done all the prerequisite romance stuff
- I did the intermission and talked to Karlach every time I entered camp
- At start of act 3 I did multiple long rests where I talked to Karlach and exhausted all the other long rest scenes until none were left
- I used a fly pot to get past the first and second checkpoints to get into the citadel
- Talked to plot character at the big hall
- Talked to other plot character at the end of the map
- Did long rests until no scenes remained and talked to Karlach (Before entering Lower City, this might be important)
- Entered Lower City, did long rest and got the date

"Found a save" ? So what's the point in achievements if you just use other people's save files to do them? Completion? You didn't complete it though.

I looked up and tried everything I could to get the date to activate but nothing worked.
So, yes, I found a save so I could only do the date part and get the achievement because that was the only reason for that save.
I wasn't about to start a new game and do the whole thing again (because I really didn't enjoy it) over some weird bug
