Awakened for companions

I'm planning on giving this buff to Laezel or Minthara.

But, from what i could gather, it seems impossible to let laezel get the buff.
Can someone confirm this?

Then, is it possible to give it to other characters than the main, like Minthara for example?
As anyone managed to achieve this?

The only way to get this is to pass the saving throws in the Zaithisk.

If you sit in the chair, you need to pass the third saving throw. If Lae'Zel sits in the chair, you need to pass the third saving throw, but it's harder.

Even if Lae'Zel sits in the chair and you pass the saving throw, she doesn't get the buff. Tav gets it.
