Can't find Dammon the blacksmith at Emerald Grove

I completed the grove quest and the tieflings are headed for Baldur's Gate. Can I still meet Dammon there to do Karlach's quest?

Been a while for me but I'm pretty sure that as soon as the Tiefling's hit the road, Dammon will be gone with them and only be found in Act II

If he's not down at the small smithy tent down in the grove, he's gone

Nope when the Tieflings are headed to bladurs gate Dammon goes with them and will be found in Act 2.

You can find him in Act 2. Assuming you are looking for him on behalf of Karlach, he can help her there (if you bring her to him).

If nothing else, you will findhim in the townof Baldur's Gate itself. Look for him near or in that Inn everyone else talks about

Unless you go evil or fail to save isobel and last light inn is lost then he will die.
