Can't join my friend (Modded Multiplayer)

Whenever he tries to join my campaign or I his, we see a loading screen and then the main menu.

We are using the Mod Manager. We are running our games fine on our own but the multiplayer function doesn't work for whoever tries to join.

We tried restarting Steam.
We thoroughly looked through our mods, the order, their updates.
We verified out files through Steam.

Here are the mods we are using for the current campaign:

• BasketEquipmentCampClothing (V1.1.5.0)
  
• BasketEquipmentNSFW (V1.1.5.0)
  
• Tav's Hairpack (V1.9.2.0)
  
• Tav's Hairpack - Icon Patch (V1.8.0.0)
  
• Toarie's Autosnap Hairpack - Icon Patch (V1.0.1.0)
  
• BagsBagsBags (V4.0.0.40)
  
• Stackable items (V1.0.0.19)
  
• Party Limit Begone (V2.1.0.0)

We also have the ImprovedUI (V3.21.0.0), ImprovedUI Assets and Modfixer.

We are literally 2 hours away from finishing our campaign after MONTHS, please help some homies out T-T

There is the chance the Multiplayer aspect of the save got corrupted

We cleaned the cache on everything and it still isn't working.... all that effort

There is a chance it is fine. But you need help from someone who knows more about it, sorry i couldn't help much

That's ok T-T thank you for your effort.

We are trying to make a new game and it's giving the same issue, no one can load into the multiplayer campaign.

PROBLEM FIXED GUYS :

if u have used the level 20 mod in the past, deleting it from ur BG3 Mod manager will not remove it completely. EVEN verifying files and all will not get rid of the lingering files. You have to go into
Steam > Steamapps>common>Baldurs gate 3 > Data
and DELETE the folder called "Public"

The game is very mod unfriendly, it's hyper strict about who can join who. It wasn't like this before, they consciously patched it to make it worse and more restrictive. Currently i can't recommend using mods at all if you want multiplayer.

My friends and I have not been able to play since March!
We can't thank you enough for finally being able to play again! Coming up on 170 hours and still have not completed a single campaign out of like 7 that we started only one reached baldur's gate. Its been a long time coming we are nearing the end...ish I think, you never can tell lol. Its now 3am Have been playing non-stop for at least 6 hrs now so thank you so much again!
