Good luck finding someone willing to be locked out of their entire Steam library while you play their copy of BG3.

I don't think you entirely understand the limits of Family Sharing; it's not just an unlimited pass to play games from another person's library. It's more equivalent to letting them borrow your Xbox; while you are playing anything from their library, they can inherently not be in any of their own games.

It's an objectively terrible deal, unless you happen to live on a completely different schedule than the person you're sharing with. And that doesn't even address the security issues of letting some random dude on the internet have your login credentials, which is the only way to authorize a computer for Family Sharing.

The system was designed precisely to avoid the use case you're trying to use it for.

I was wondering why I got a random friends request from this person.

That's wrong it does not lock you out of all your games just game being shared. I share libraries with my neice and we each can play a different game.

You are really expecting for someone to give you personal info?

"Bro" get a job

If I had BG3, the last thing I'd want to do is use family share so that's not happening OP. That's something you yourself have to earn.

Nice game ban, BTW.

Plus I don't even live in Brazil, OP. That basically makes your chances of family sharing all the more null and void.

Get a job.

If you are sharing an account, you have to be in off line mode to play your games if the other person is on. If you get online with Steam and play a game they are dumped.

"What if a family member is caught cheating or committing fraud while playing my shared games?

Your Steam Family privileges may be revoked and your account may also be VAC banned if a member of your Steam Family playing a game from you cheats or commits fraud."

You have game ban on record, so I'm not sure anyone would share with you due to implications and possibility to share ban with you.
