Jaheira not considered as an ally when she should be
As title says, jaheira is not considered as an ally while she is in the party.

Consequences: we are like 2 teams in one team

- If SHE triggers a fight, the rest of the team does not appear in the initiative combat roll until one of the other party members attacks. This effect is also valid the other way around.

-She cannot be targeted by positive spells as you can see in the screenshot bellow.

At camp she can still be targeted by friendly spells but only if she is NOT in the party.
However she still appears under a green or blue light icon meaning she is definitely considered as an ally.

I know this problem has already been reported as i did some research. There seems to be no real fix or workaround for this.

Considering how late in the game we get the chance to take her with us in our journey, it is really frustrating of course.

Do you guys have been encountering the same issue recently?
Has larian aknowledged the thing?
Did someone figure out a workaround for this?

Frankly I never had this issue. Played quite a bit with her in my last playthrough and it was working as intended.

I should also mention i did respect my jaheira into rogue/druid, just in case you guys find a pattern...

I have her in my party right now. I don't have your issue either.

There must be some sort of uncommon trigger for this bug, but I haven't a clue what it might be.

Looks like a desync issue between the players in multiplayer.. I've had this issue. I saved in midbattle, closed our completly then reloaded and it cleared up.

Anything else is beyond me.

I'm playing solo right now but glad you got it solved.

I'm suspecting that it might be related to the hint gortash gave us during the coronnation in rockwyrm fortress. Maybe the jaheira in my party is not the true one and she is actually a doppelganger, or maybe i'm going way to far here and it's just a bug...

What do you think guys?

it is not, only a few can be captured, shes not one

its either her or halsin or gale, if you get the reveal in the sewers and none are available to be captured its yenna the orphan girl i think? also if it ends up being yenna the cat gets bbq'd on top... you can also get the reveal while long resting in camp and its more amusing there

I've just got this problem too. I didn't recruit her until after defeating K. I'm going to try having her suicide, see how that goes.

Experiencing the same exact issue in my end. Specifically googled into this topic for that very reason. Putting game on hold until I know this bug is fixed <<

Just to add - Found a bit of an odd work around due to using auto-saves to go back to just before I recruited Jaheira -

Apparently if I recruit Jaheira at Moonrise towers she bugs out and is treated as a neutral party. However if I ignore Jaheira until the beginning of Chapter 3 - She joins the party without the bug.

Very nice find mate.

Right before the fight with ketheric at the top of moonrise tower, when i saw the option to include Jaheira in the party i immediately jumped on it. Your finding might explain why she is bugged for me now.

I'd be curious to know if all the players who don't have this bug made the choice to NOT INCLUDE Jaheira in the moonrise fight.

I will assume my jaheira is bugged for good then...very disappointing
