Statue buff is bugged AF

Yeah, like a lot of the "perma buffs" add this one to the bugged list, every time you change a clothing iten, weapon or walk through a loading screen the buff amount changes or disappears entirely. My attack bonus has changed like 6 times in the last few minutes, good thing is I can reroll it by removing and replacing my ring constantly I guess...

But yeah the "permanent buffs" are not permanent, I've lost them all over the course of playthroughs.

What statue buff? the one you get in act 3 for paying 5k gold? or you talking about something else. As far as I know if you for some reason use bless on that character the statue buff gets removed and wont be reapplied until after next long reset. So make sure you do not buff bless on your Tav or whatever character you are playing as.

Bless is a 1d4 bonus, not a fixed value bonus. It's *supposed* to be different 75% of the time that you check it.

To be fair, the way +dice buffs are displayed in the character sheet really isn't clear. it took me a while to figure out why the frig my attack bonus kept jumping around.

I've never used bless on him, can guidance do the same?

I'm aware of this, but shouldn't it only "change" each morning, not each time I alter a clothing item.

it changes with every roll you do, itd a 1d4 to each affected roll, when you do a roll that bless helps with, you roll an extra 1d4 and add it to the value

or at least thats how it should work

That is because most people here are fanatics of the game more fanatics tend to have issues levying any criticism towards the thing they worship. I have had run ending bugs in which I basically lost 170 hours of game time to small bugs like the one you are having with the statue buff. Seems the most common reply I get is "it never happened to me" and always makes me feel like somehow I am lying when I gain nothing out of that.

Yeah, there's definitely bugs and shortcomings with the game. Solasta has it beat for how they handle magic items, crafting and travel etc. They even had "prepare action" and "dodge" which BG3inexplicably doesn't have.
