Ditto the above.
In EA, I seem to remember they were all readable, but could be wrong.
The Nautiloid was twice as big back then, so maybe they got careless when they were cutting?
It's like, 'Oh, here we are. A dissected goblin and a slate nearby that contains description of collected goblins' ways and rituals and so on. Hmm, we're going to meet lots of goblins soon...'
Unfortunately, after several walkthroughs no further dialogs and narration within the game shows that Tav remembers anything from these nautiloid tablets. A pity, that - he/she could start unravelling all this tangle much earlier.
And yes, two tablets stopped issuing their narrative after Patch 5, but even if anyone has put it into the lightspot, Larian doesn't seem to rectify such a minor bug.
I would prefer for them to continue to work... or simply remove so as to not distract players with (now) useless content.
