Yes. Technically it will use a wizard spell slot, but since it's a ritual spell it's free.
There is a problem, though. If you multi-class into wizard that is going to change your spell-casting proficiency attribute for scrolls and items to INT. And as a sorcerer, you likely don't have a very high INT. Just a consideration.
Considering that Shovel can teach it to you once you talk to her, it's not really "cheesing" anything. You're learning it a legit way from the familiar itself.
If you are dead set on it, you don't get an extra 1st level spell slot from Wizard, but you get effective caster levels like artemisone said. If you go 11 sorc/1 wiz you still get spells like a level 12 caster. Since you have a Wizard level, you will be able to scribe a bunch of spells to cast in addition to your Sorcerer spells, but they will all use your INT as a casting stat so will likely be pretty poor (unless you wear the Warped Headband of Int all game). You can "get around this" by only casting wizard spells that don't need attack rolls of saves (basically just buffs).
I'll elaborate on this just ecause it's very important.
In BG3 the spll casting proficiency is chosen based on the LAST class you acquired, not the first, in case the OP doesn't know. Take this into consideration when multiclassing.
I just finished with a 11 Sorc/1 Wiz playthrough, and to clarify yes you can scribe spells, but with only one level in wizard, you can only have one spell active at a time. For example, I scribed all of the legendary books from Sorcerous Sundries, plus the cantrips and the 1st level spells you get as normal for wizard, but I can only have one 'prepared' at a time (so I always had Artistry of War prepared, instead of say Darkness). That then gets added to the spells you can cast.
