Stuck in Reithwin Tollhouse

In Reithwin Tollhouse after getting rid of the gold creature I dropped through the rotted floorboards into the room below where there is a wardrobe across the only door out. I can see there is a button on the wall but I failed all my perception checks so I cant push it. I presume this is the way out through the wall next to it.

So if I cannot press this button and I dont have any way to get all of my party out of the room again what can I do? Other than have to restart from the last load file?

Do you know that you can port to a place where you've discovered a portal? I can't tell how exactly how without being in game to tell you where to look for it in your UI so look it up. It took me a while to realize that I could do this when I first started playing the game.

You can for example jump or fly the same way out that you came in (I think the floor boards can have a visual glitch making them look like solid, but that's just a visual issue). Potions or scrolls can be either used or just send to your inventory from any others inventory (or you can use spells, of course). You can also just port to another way point.

Yep. If you've maid it to Moonrise Towers I'd port there. It's the closest. Otherwise I'd go to Last Light Inn.

You can jump over the door iirc ( there’s a spot that allow you to do so ) even if it seems blocked by furnitures, so even without spotting the button you should be fine ( otherwise, teleport/fasttravel is quicker )

Actually the closest one is near the Tollhouse itself, almost in its wall that neighbours the bridge.
Or, if you dont want to teleport and all, take the strongest member of your party and just smash this wardrobe to pieces.

You can't seem to damage the wardrobe I tried.

I had all my party in that stupid room and only a couple of ways to get only 2 people out by then and didnt really want to use them up tbh on such a stupid room.

I never tried jumping over the door but I couldnt even get anywhere near to the door to hit it or open it. Didnt try jumping on top of the wardrobe though.

I just teleported out - ie cheated. Which I am glad about as I dont have to do the gold monster again, but I am not happy about the fact that I had to cheat due to a stupid dead end room lol as I dont like cheating in games.

I looked around for ages for spells etc and cant believe there is not another way out of there. My party has died a few times so far but that will forever be considered the stupidest death ever because I consider it a death of at least two members of the party that wouldnt have got out.

The door should be open by another member outside.

If you let all your party fall down the hole well… did you try destroying the door?

I remember being able to leap from the outside to the inside and viceversa, but had the door already opened by the thief all the times.
