Hood of the Weave vs Charisma Hat?
for Warlock in two scenarios
1.) if sorlock focused on EB maximization
2.) if 12 lvl Warlock?

i mean i can reach 24 Cha with hat. but isnt Hood better bec + 2 and 2 cha gives +1 ?

If you're maximizing damage output of EB, you're better off with the hat (you would get two more damage with agonizing blast and potent robe from the charisma bonus). If you want spells, including EB, to hit more often and/or be more difficult to save, go with the hood (DC and spell attack rolls would be one higher than with the charisma benefit from the hat). I can't see a difference if pure warlock or sorlock. Personally, I like to land spells more often and would go with the hood, especially if using other equipment that can inflict status effects.

Couldn't have put it better myself, but to add another point of consideration:

Birthright caps at 22 CHA. If you can already hit that cap (you have Mirror of Loss and decided to grab Ravengard's Longsword which is a WLK BiS for the off-hand), then Hood of the Weave can help prevent diminishing returns without gimping bonus damage.

To be fair, they're going evil route on a DUrge run, so I don't think that's an issue.

If you're using Ketheric's Shield you might as well use Birthright. Most of the high impact WLK spells that aren't Eldritch Blast key saves, not attacks, so the Save DC bonus will do the same thing as the Hood.
