ps: the safe way to jump is, imo, move forward on the invisible floor > jump on the first, move forward to the corner > jump on the second > move forward to the corner, ***Jump on the invisible floor*** > jump on the third ( the one with the gem ).
BTW: the only reason the trial attempter should die is they didn't put their blood in the bowl. If their blood is in the bowl and they "mis-step" they should just reappear at the beginning.
Shadowheart insists on doing it, and you'll get a wee bit of disapproval, but you can insist Halsin does it instead. (Or someone else.) Flight or teleport is a much more reliable way to cheese it than long distance jumping.
I then tried sending Astarion, to follow the path, like an idiot, and I didnt have anyone with a good lockpicking to open the door and go resurrect everyone with withers.
I get that its easy to cheese, but the fact that it is such a poorly communicated buggy mess and no one seems to enjoy the puzzle and instead just misty steps/jumps/does whatever to cheese it should be a sign that it is due for a redesign and a little TLC.
Luckily as soon as I saw my last character drop I pulled the plug on my computer so it didnt sync and I still have my honor mode going.
