As of patch 6 what API are you using?
I know that the agreement for nvidia owners was to use DX11 over Vulcan when the game released but I am wondering now that the game has had some reasonable optimisation passes what API are you playing the game with? It just seems crazy to think that DX11 would or could ever be better than Vulkan in a properly optimised engine. DX11 is ancient and lacks good mult-icore support. I find it very strange they didn't make this game DX12 but I guess that is for another discussion.

So, what API are you using and with what hardware?

Windows 11 23H2
MSI RTX 4090 GT
7800X3D - X670E
32GB 6000CL30 (buildzoid low effort timings)

DX11 offers more FPS but frametime is allover the place especially on ACT3. I rather lose 20% avg Framerate with Vulkan but get proper frametime on Act 3. (Or anywhere really)

+ You can use Puredark's mod of frame generation with Vulkan for perfection.
